NYTimes calls out SEO shenanigans for “Mother’s Day Flowers”

The New York Times is still on SEO patrol, this time calling out a number of online flower vendors trying to game Google with paid links for “mother’s day flowers” and related keywords.  Back in February the NYTimes ran a widely-read exposé on J.C. Penney’s link buying tactics.  This time around Google claims their search results are properly filtering out the flower shop maneuvering.
